Catching the impressive fireworks display above the Delaware River is an ever-popular way to celebrate the New Year. This year, the display once again returns for two shows — one at 6 p.m. and midnight.

Tons of bars and attractions along and just off the waterfront host parties to make it easy for folks to catch the fireworks shows while simultaneously celebrating the New Year with food, music, drinks and more.

 PARTIES DURING THE 6 P.M. FIREWORKS SHOW

• Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest

Penn’s Landing, Columbus Boulevard and Market Street, 5 p.m., $25-$40. Ice skate your way into the New Year while watching fireworks illuminate the sky above at the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest’s New Year’s Eve celebration. • Countdown to 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia

Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, 201 S. Columbus Boulevard, 4 p.m., $110-$169. The Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing is ringing in 2015 with not one, but two fantastic parties. With prime views of both fireworks shows at 6 p.m. and midnight on the Delaware River, the Hyatt is a sought after destination for families and late-night revelers. Kid’s New Year’s Eve Countdown at Franklin Square

Franklin Square is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a free, kid-friendly “Square Drop” in lieu of the famous ball. Take a spin on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel, putt through the Liberty Bell at Philly Mini Golf, enjoy SquareBurger’s hearty winter menu and celebrate with a Kids Dance Party in the indoor pavilion before watching the Penn’s Landing’s Fireworks early show at 6 p.m. The fun continues with the the final Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show of the year at 8 p.m. MORE INFO

• New Year’s Eve Splash at Adventure Aquarium

Adventure Aquarium, 1 Riverside Drive, Camden, 5 p.m., $18-$25, free for children under 2. Across the Delaware River in Camden, Adventure Aquarium is kicking off the New Year with their 3rd annual New Year’s Eve Splash. The family-friendly celebration from 5 to 8:30 p.m. features a “countdown” dance party, special animal guests and fantastic views of the early fireworks at 6 p.m. Tickets are limited and include a special New Year’s gift (limit one per family). • New Year’s Eve on the Battleship New Jersey

Battleship New Jersey, 100 Clinton Street, Camden, 6 p.m. and midnight, $10. Climb aboard the historic Battleship New Jersey for deck-side views of the New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Delaware River. Open for both shows at 6 p.m. and midnight, the Battleship New Jersey will celebrate with music, food and drinks and a firing of the 5-inch portside gun after the fireworks. Looking for an extended celebration? Grab a bunk and spend the night with a special New Year’s Overnight Encampment including dinner, breakfast and experience the start of 2015 like a crew member aboard the famous battleship. MORE INFO

Moshulu

Old City, 401 S. Columbus Boulevard, 215-923-2500. Have a sweet celebration aboard the Moshulu as you ring in the New Year. Below deck, enjoy a special four-course prix fixe dinner with seatings between 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. ($125 per person). Those looking to watch the fireworks can head to the heated deck for great views of both fireworks shows and a dessert buffet for $25 per person and cash bar. MORE INFO

• Spirit of Philadelphia

Spirit of Philadelphia, 401 S. Columbus Boulevard, $80.03-$133.63. The Spirit of Philadelphia hosts two New Year’s Eve parties aboard its Delaware River cruiser. • Dave and Buster’s

Dave and Buster’s, 325 N. Columbus Boulevard, 4:30 p.m., $25-$50. Games and fireworks are the name of the game for Dave and Buster’s kid-centric New Year’s Eve party. The party starts at 4:30 p.m. and promises prime views of the 6 p.m. fireworks. MORE INFO

• Family New Year’s Eve at Independence Seaport Museum

Independence Seaport Museum, 211 S. Columbus Boulevard, 4 p.m., $10-$13.50. The Independence Seaport Museum at Penn’s Landing is staying open late for a family-friendly celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Ring in the New Year early with noise makers, party hats and a sparkling cider “toast” before the early New Year’s Eve Fireworks show at 6 p.m. The all-ages party is included with regular museum admission. • New Year’s Eve Dance Fever at SugarHouse Casino

SugarHouse Casino, 1001 N. Delaware Avenue, 10 p.m., $75. In addition to presenting both New Year’s fireworks shows, SugarHouse Casino is also a destination for explosive fun on December 31. SugarHouse’s New Year’s Eve Dance Fever features an open bar, live music, champagne toast at midnight and private viewing area for the fireworks extravaganza over the Delaware River. MORE INFO

• New Year’s Funkin’ Eve at FringeArts

FringeArts, 140 N. Columbus Boulevard, 11 p.m., $15. One of the newest attractions on the Delaware River Waterfront, FringeArts says goodbye to 2014 with a funky celebration featuring live music, a beer garden bonfire, balloons and more. Starting at 11 p.m., enjoy sparkling cocktails and à la carte late-night specials at La Peg before watching the midnight fireworks over the Delaware River. • Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest

Penn’s Landing, Columbus Boulevard and Market Street, 10 p.m., $25-$40. Expanded and better than ever, the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest offers one of the best views of the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Before the show, lace up a pair of skates and do a few laps on the regulation-size ice rink, grab a warm beverage in the Lodge or relax in front of a fire pit and enjoy gorgeous waterfront views. For the 21 and over crowd, an 8:30 p.m. boarding brings a night of dancing, entertainment, food and an open bar. The Spirit of Philadelphia will cruise the waterfront from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and will finish off with a dockside party until 1 a.m. Tickets start at $174.90. Tickets are available online. • Dave and Buster’s

Dave and Buster’s, 325 N. Columbus Boulevard, 9 p.m., $55-$160. Games, drinks and fireworks come together for Dave and Buster’s 21-and-over New Year’s Eve party. The party starts at 9 p.m. and promises views of the midnight fireworks show. A variety of tickets are available — ranging from an open bar deal to a no-drinking option. MORE INFO

• New Year’s Eve Cruise on the Benjamin Franklin Yacht

Ben Franklin Yacht, 401 North Columbus Boulevard, 9:30 p.m., $110. Watch the fireworks illuminate the sky from the Benjamin Franklin Yacht. Enjoy music, an open bar, buffet, party favors, champagne toast and great views of the midnight fireworks display. The ship will begin boarding at 9:30 p.m., and the cruise will last from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Take note, this party is only for the 21-and-up set. MORE INFO

• Bonus: Old City Parties

For those looking for views of the fireworks without being right on the waterfront, a ton of Old City bars and restaurants offer great parties and a nearby spot to catch the fireworks.
